My name is Layla. I choose this English name due to the album of Eric Clapton, but only one of my friends realized that.. Anyway.
My hometown is Shanghai. I was obsessed by the movies of Kar Wai Wong in my high school, so I came to Hong Kong for college. Actually, the two cities are quite similar in some way. And..maybe I will set out for somewhere else after college.
I love arts, and since I got my Ipad with apple pencil, I started to learn digital illustration. I put some of my painting in my blog, you can check the activities tag.
I play piano, but I also like rock and roll. Like the words in the keep calm series: KEPP CALM AND LISTEN TO LED ZEPPELIN,QUEEN, BLACK SABBATH,PINK FLOYD, THE BEATLES, KISS, THE WHO, NIRVANA, ACDC, GUN N’ ROSES!!! Yeah, I love them all. Well, so sad, I sing out of tune:( ,otherwise I may become a singer.
I love playing chess, Chinese chess, the game of GO, gobang, shougi.. I can play all kinds of chess I have ever heard, and I have attended many chess competition in my high school. I am currently learning the game of GO due to manga..while previously I learned shougi (Japanese chess) due to another manga and successfully beat AI..(Ahh I love manga)
I play table tennis and badminton ;), but I am unable to play tennis, because I always use my waist to spike, and it hurts.. I also practice wing-chun(see the picture above), a kind of kungfu famous in Southern China. It is said that the famous Bruce Lee has also learned it before.
